Eligibility Beginner to intermediate to experienced riders (The program will be tailored to your riding level.) Itinerary Day 1 Noon – Arrival at Shiraishi-Zao Station by Shinkansen from Tokyo or other locations for a pick-up Afternoon – Greet&Meet, Safety instructions, Kurumi Cross-Country Ride (90 minutes) Evening – Check in to a traditional Japanese ryokan with natural hot springs and enjoy a Japanese dinner Day 2 Morning - Warmup, Brushing and Saddle preparation, Kurumi Cross-Country Ride (120 minutes) Afternoon - Lunch option at your choice, Program concludes, and guests disperse after the ride Evening - Back to Tokyo Highlights & Recommended Points Short and Sweet, a perfect weekend retreat, away from crowds and city noises Available year-round – experience all four seasons Ride through cherry blossom forests in spring (late March–April), lush green landscapes and fresh mountain air in summer (May–September), vibrant red and golden momiji in autumn (October–December), and the silver-white forests of Zao in winter (late December–March) After riding, unwind in natural hot springs and indulge in Zao’s delicious local cuisine Calm, dependable Dosanko horses (a traditional Japanese breed) will be your trusted companions Easy and accessible riding techniques are taught through pre-ride lessons and warm-ups, so riders can enjoy the longer trails with confidence Extensions are available with extra riding options or optional cultural/natural activities with allows you to freely design your own ideal itinerary.
