Got it — 3 days, progressive riding, flexible last day. Here it is: TOUR NAME Sakura Ride — Spring in the Mountains TAGLINE Cherry blossoms. Mountain trails. One week a year when Japan looks like this. MAIN BODY Timing is everything with sakura. The window is short — sometimes just a week — and most tourists spend it in a crowded park, staring at trees. You'll be on horseback, riding through them. This is the same mountain retreat as our year-round ride, but in spring the Zao landscape transforms completely. Pink blossoms line the trails, the air is cool and fresh, and the light through the canopy is unlike anything else in Japan. Your Dosanko horse picks its way calmly through the forest while you take it all in. It's the same great escape — ryokan, hot springs, bilingual guide — just with nature putting on its best show. Day 1 — Arrive & First Ride Arrive at Shiraishi-Zao Station (Shinkansen from Tokyo — we'll pick you up). Meet your horse, learn the basics of groundwork and handling, then head out for a 90-minute introductory trail through the sakura-lined Kurumi trails. Dinner and hot springs at a traditional ryokan. Sleep well — tomorrow is a full day. Day 2 — Full Mountain Ride After morning grooming, today is all about riding. A full 120-minute trail deeper into the mountains, with more terrain and more time in the saddle. Lunch at your leisure, hot springs again in the evening. You'll feel the difference from yesterday. Day 3 — Your Call The final morning is shaped around you. Choose from: a second trail at a different location, a bareback session, focused riding lessons, or groundwork and horse bonding time. A gentle farewell before heading back to Tokyo — a better rider than when you arrived. PRICE From ¥130,000 per person+ Includes: riding fees, two nights ryokan accommodation, bilingual guide & interpretation, all lessons and groundwork sessions, local transfers and pick-up.
