Riding a horse through soft winter snow feels like floating on cotton and we are excited to open a new winter riding group for January 20–24, 2026.This will be a special way to experience the beauty of Japan’s winter landscapes—on horseback.

This is a 5-day, 4-night package designed for both experienced riders and beginners.

Winter Horseback Riding in Japan

✔ 3 Days of Horse Riding

Enjoy scenic snow trails in the Japanese countryside.

• Experienced riders: daily cantering sessions

• Beginners: riding lessons + relaxed outdoor rides

• English saddle riders: chance to try Western saddles for comfort and stability in snowy terrain

✔ Traditional Hot Spring Ryokan

Relax in a warm onsen after a day of riding.

✔ Cultural Experiences in Tohoku

Learn about local traditions such as kimono and tea ceremony, also traditional craftmanship - kumihimo. Also it is time to explore small towns rich in winter charm.

✔ All Meals, Accommodation & Transportation

🚉 Meeting Point & Access

Meeting Location: Shiroishi-Zao Station (Meeting time will be PM)

Direct access by Shinkansen. (Or sendai airport is an another alternative)

A private car will pick you up and take you to the riding farm.

• Solo riders, couples, and friends are all welcome.

• Groups of 2 or more can request a private tour.
